Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed (Genesis 12:1-3 KJV)
On March 4, 2012, President Obama, speaking at the American/Jewish Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, ” So there should not be a shred of doubt by now — when the chips are down, I have Israel’s back.” At the time, I said “the only part of Israel’s back Obama has is their butt, which he would love to kick right into the Mediterranean Sea.”
On December 23, 2016, in the UN Security Council vote on Israeli settlements, Obama finally got his way on Israel, by abstaining instead of using the veto power to kill the resolution.
Obviously, Obama has little if any, understanding of Genesis 12:3, in which God chose a man named Abram as the man who would father the God’s chosen people—Israel. 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.(Genesis 12:3 KJV)
There are variations, such as the map below. But the fact is that this is the land God promised to Abram, thru his son Isaac. No, not thru Ishmael…only Isaac to and thru Jacob.
This is Israel with the boundaries set by God in His unconditional covenant that He made with Abram. 18 In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates (Genesis 15:18 KJV)
No man, not Obama, not John Kerry, not Samantha Powers, no one, can take this promise from God and Israel. Obama has cursed God. Now, thanks to him, we have to live under that curse. What a way to go out!
Not to be outdone, soon-to-be-gone Secretary of State John Kerry decided to give a speech on why the United States stabbed Israel. In the speech, Kerry said the US abstained because the “U.S. could not “allow a viable two-state solution to be destroyed before our eyes.” He went on “virtually every country in the world” besides Israel opposes the settlements, including many countries counted among Israel’s friends.” http://www.cbsnews.com/news/democratic-republican-lawmakers-criticize-john-kerrys-israel-speech/
So building housing on one’s own land is somehow wrong? Barack Obama, John Kerry and the rest of the clowns who did this have no clue on Israel’s history and its promise from God. In fact, Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett suggested that Kerry needs to read the Bible! Great idea, doubtful Kerry would actually read it though…might discover Truth.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said “friends don’t send friends to the Security Council.” And he says he has absolute proof that the United States wrote and pushed forward this resolution. Given Obama’s attitude towards Israel all these years, I would believe Netanyahu.
So what now? On January 15, seventy nations are set to meet in Paris. Please read about it here: http://prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=910
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. (Zechariah 14:1-3 KJV)
With just 20 days left in office, there is much more that Obama can attempt to do when it comes to Israel. One is to push the UN to vote on creating a two state solution. Obama will be dangerous until January 20. There is no telling what stunts he might pull. We just have to pray that he’s done. He’s a lame duck who will soon have no power. That’s what makes him dangerous in the time he
has left. And he can walk around with his famous smug, arrogant pose that we’ve seen much too often.
On January 20, the US will have a new president. Will he live up to his word to stand with Israel and fight for them? We pray he will. Repealing a UN resolution in the Security Council will be extremely difficult with five nations having veto power. 2017 will be a most significant year as far as Bible prophecy fulfillment is concerned. Pray for Israel and pray for our new president and his administration. What happens with Israel effects all of us.
